| ISA demonstrations |
Ghent University has got his own ISA-car, equipped with the active accelerator pedal of the company Imita and offered by Volvo Ghent. During several years, many demonstrations with this vehicle were given to opinion and decision makers and also to the general public.
The main goals are to give information, to demonstrate the use and possible acceptance of ISA in road safety and to create a carrying capacity for a future implementation of ISA in Belgium and Europe.

September 16: Demonstration and information given of ISA for the European Commission on Transport in Ghent.
May 3: Demonstration and information given of ISA for the Rotary-club Dendermonde (25 participants) in Dendermonde.
April 26: Demonstration and information given of ISA for the Brussels' administration in Ghent.
April 7: Demonstration and press-conference for the launch of the ISA-campaign of the Flemish Pedestrian Movement in Brussels. It has been on the national radio (VRT radio 1: interview with Sven Vlassenroot) and published in the paper "Het nieuwsblad" on the 8th of april.
March 14: "Flemish day of technology:" Demonstration and information given for the general public (+/- 50 participants) in Ghent.
February 23: Demonstration and information given for the members of the 'Commission of State of the Province of Drenthe in Assen (Netherlands).

July 4: Seminar with the responsible of the French ISA-project (LAVIA, Mr. J. Ehrlich), the Higher Institute De Nayer, The city of Ghent and the centre of Sustainable Development in Ghent.
June 28: Demonstration and information given for the program "Breekpunt" on the financial chanel "Kanaal Z".
June 12: Demonstration and information given of the ISA-ghent project for the members of PROSPER (research funded by the EU) (+/- 20 participants).
