| ISA Demonstraties |
Universiteit Gent beschikt over een eigen ISA-demonstratiewagen. Het gebruik van de wagen werd mogelijk gemaakt door Volvocars Gent. Deze wagen is uitgerust met het 'actieve gaspedaal' van de firma Imita. Heel wat demonstraties zijn met deze wagen al geraliseerd.
De in Belgie opgebouwde strategie vertrok van de vaststelling dat men veel over ISA -in sterktes en zwaktes- kan praten maar niets beter overtuigend is dan zelf rijden met ISA. Om deze reden heeft het CDO veel tijd en middelen ingezet op demonstraties.

Verschillende groepen (pers, politieke studiediensten, voetgangersbeweging, administraties, verzekeringsmaatschappijen, …) via demonstraties maakten kennis met ISA, waardoor een bredere kring van mensen tot stand komt die rechtstreeks of onrechtstreeks het draagvlak versterken.
De allereerste demonstratiewagen werd mogelijk gemaakt door Dhr. Eddy Wouters (1954-2005), voorvechter van ISA, baanbrekend in het nemen van nieuwe initiatieven rond de snelheidsproblematiek...

April 26: Demonstration and information given of ISA for the Brussels' administration in Ghent.
April 7: Demonstration and press-conference for the launch of the ISA-campaign of the Flemish Pedestrian Movement in Brussels. It has been on the national radio (VRT radio 1: interview with Sven Vlassenroot) and published in the paper "Het nieuwsblad" on the 8th of april.
